LIBS technic is a versatile tool to characterize materials. A large amount of proofs of qualitative and quantitative measurements has been obtained in laboratory conditions. Does the LIBS technic ready to go to the field? The industrialization of LIBS will be discussed in term of equipment, automatization and data treatment. Some examples of apparatus and applications will be shared.
