Développements méthodologiques à l'échelle de temps pluri-journalière

Abstract : The aim of this paper is to present an experimental method to trace sediments in river. First, the theory of sediment tracing method in a river section is reminded. Next, the paper emphasizes the importance of the partition coefficient in modelling sediment transit time by conceptual models. Last, results of an experimental work on the sediment transit time determination in the River Vilaine between Rennes and Guipry (Brittany, France) are presented.
