Suivi du chargement et de l'endommagement d'un acier inoxydable sous sollicitations de fatigue thermique à grand nombre de cycles

Abstract : The study of high cycle thermal fatigue raises several experimental challenges among which keeping the thermal loading constant all along the cycles, continuously measuring this loading and its effects in terms of mechanical strain and damage in the most loaded area. Recent experimental results on austenitic stainless steels obtained on a device designed to address these specific challenges are presented. The development of thermal fatigue crack networks is followed in-situ with an infrared camera and the influence of loading amplitude and mean stress level on these developments is evaluated
