The Workshop on challenges and new approaches for dependable and cyber-physical system engineering (De-CPS) was held in Paris, France on June 23, 2014. The industrial session included several papers presented by eminent researchers and scholars. One such was entitled 'Dependable Real-Time System and Mixed-Criticality: Seeking Safety, Flexibility and Efficiency with KRON-OS', which was presented by Vincent David and his colleagues. Another such paper presented during the workshop was entitled 'Behavioral Contracts for Energy Consumption'.
