Efficient excitation of silicon photonic cavity modes from carbon nanotube photoluminescence

Abstract : We report here the integration of a large quantity of s-SWCNTs as an active cladding layer on top of silicon micro/nano cavities. The gathered results show that the luminescence of the SCNTs can be efficiently coupled into the considered photonic crystal cavity modes.
