We consider the Fokker-Planck operator with a strong external magnetic field. We show a maximal type estimate on this operator using a nilpotent approach on vector field polynomial operators and including the notion of representation of a Lie algebra. This estimate makes it possible to give an optimal characterization of the domain of the closure of the considered operator.

On considère l'opérateur de Fokker-Planck avec un champ magné-tique extérieur fort. On montre une estimation de type maximale sur cet opérateur en utilisant une approche nilpotente pour des opérateurs polynômes de champs de vecteurs et en incluant la notion de la repré-sentation sur une algèbre de Lie. Cette estimation permet de donner une meilleure caractérisation du domaine de la fermeture de l'opérateur considéré .
